The Wild Girls

Twelve year-old Joan leaves her home in Conneticut for California when her father is re-located. There she meets a girl called Fox; together the two create a story that is part fiction, part truth. When the story wins a prize, the girls are invited to attend a youth writing program. Imagination and the truth of adults play an active role in their writings, and their lives.
