Newes From The Dead

This is a tale about the 1650 hanging of Anne Green. Falsely accused of murdering her own child, who was actually stillborn, Anne is convicted and sentenced to death by hanging. Except that the hanging doesn't kill her.
Told from dual perspectives, medical student Robert Matthews, who has a stuttering problem, notices her movements in the beginning stages of her autopsy. Can he save Anne?
The novel offers insight into the growing medical field, as well as political life of Oxford, England in 1650.
